Goodline Trim and Norman R. Wright & Sons QA – Clint Weber
How long have you worked with Norman R. Wright & Sons?
Goodline Trim have worked with Norman R. Wright & Sons since the early 90’s when the previous owner ran the business. I have personally worked with Norman R. Wrights & Sons since 2004 when I commenced my apprenticeship and have continued on over the years whilst working for and now owning Goodline Trim.
Where or how did the original relationship develop?
The relationship has grown and developed over the years starting out with Peter Goodbun the original owner of Goodline Trim, who worked closely with Ian and Bill Wright.
Goodline Trim are a long serving supplier of Norman R Wright & Sons, why do you think that’s the case?
Goodline Trim and Norman R. Wrights share the same pride in delivering a high end top quality product to protect the customer, especially across a large range of vessels from traditional to modern builds, fishing boats and super yachts.
What do you and your team enjoy most about working with Norman Wrights?
We enjoy the variety of vessels Norman R. Wright work on, which brings challenges from Goodline Trim for new ideas, products and styles for the delivery of our products.
Why do you think Norman Wrights have remained successful in business for so long?
Norman R. Wright & Sons have/are always willing to adapt and work with clients to provide the desired product. Allowing trades like ours to assist in the design through to delivery to ensure the best outcome for the client.
What would be one of the highlight projects you have collaborated on and why?
Whilst under Goodline Trim’s current ownership our team thoroughly enjoyed working with Tony, Dave and their team on ‘AURA’, the recently completed 60 game boat. Being a modern and state of the art fishing vessel, while delivering a very high end build to be enjoyed by the client and his family. This is the biggest project our team has completed with Norman R. Wright & Sons since purchasing Goodline Trim in 2005.
