WHAT DO YOU AND YOUR TEAM LIKE ABOUT WORKING WITH NRW?
NRW are a company rich with history dating back beyond even Pyrotek’s foundation in 1956. The fact that we both value quality, performance, ingenuity-innovative ideas – encompassing a family like environment, means an easy alignment of expectation from each other, paving the way for mutual respect and understanding. What better way to do it than providing Australian engineered and manufactured pieces of art that the eventual owners get to enjoy.
WHAT WOULD BE ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHT NRW PROJECTS YOU COLLABORATED ON AND WHY?
There are numerous successfully completed projects utilising Pyrotek gear across the pleasure and commercial boating skillset that NRW have, and to pick one to highlight is a disservice to the rest, although I did have a personal involvement with most projects, the 60ft pleasure Sportfish “Aura” sticks out for me, mainly because I was working directly with the NRW team. It was quite a hands-on designed solution encompassing our technical acoustic support, custom manufactured acoustic products and engine room sheathing to achieve noise criteria, as well as ensuring potential survey requirements were obeyed, along with our very first success through NRW on a “turn-key” wet exhaust and silencer system, custom designed for this luxury sport fisher.
WHAT ARE THE KEY TYPES OF PROJECTS AND SERVICES YOU PROVIDE TO NRW?
Pyrotek have been manufacturing acoustic materials in Australia since the 70’s, over the years our material solutions for noise, vibration, heat and fire have been developed and redeveloped to meet stringent international regulations across multiple industries – such as marine boat building. Solutions designed for surface and submerged applications, across vessels ranging 10-1000s of feet long, whether constructed in wood, aluminium, steel, grp-composite – the products are tailored to meet and exceed safety regulations and importantly to enhance the comfort and safety onboard.
WHY ARE YOU A KEY SUPPLIER OF NRW?
Our history of providing solutions into a global boat manufacturing market, provides the intel to base our recommendations. We have direct access to world leading technologies and solutions for shipbuilding, and it is because of this expertise, this global coverage & these effective products that our relationship has blossomed over the years.
The relationship between the companies has seen several sales managers at Pyrotek come and go – with multiple account managers visiting the yard – all sharing the same drive to solve problems, improve systems, to grow.
